Q: What is Intention setting? Can anyone do it?

A: Yes. Intention setting is much like making a wish on your birthday and blowing out the candles. You are imagining the outcome you want. Seeing it in your minds eye, as if it’s already happened. Manifesting it into reality. The Universe will not give what you are not willing to work towards though, so be prepared to put in the work.

Q: What is Reiki?

A: Reiki is a Japanese technique that can reduce stress, anxiety and help promote self-healing. Reiki is a safe, gentle non-invasive form of natural hands-on, energy-based healing. It is used all over the world, including in hospitals and hospices to complement other forms of health treatments.

Q: I received a crystal & herb dressed intention candle from WBC, how do I burn it?

A: These soy intention candles are scented with phthalate free fragrances and have cotton wicks. These are not YANK33 candles, they are not meant to be lit and walked away from. Intention candles aren’t meant to be lit and forgotten. They’re meant to be felt. Intention candles require “work”.

✨ Candle work means showing up. It’s about presence, energy, and intention. Whether you're manifesting abundance, releasing old patterns, or simply grounding yourself, these candles are your ritual companions. Light them with purpose. Stay with them. Let the flame reflect your focus.

Always keep your candle within sight while it’s burning. For best results, allow it to burn for at least 1 hour but no more than 4 hours at a time. Avoid extinguishing it before a full melt pool forms across the surface—this is crucial! Soy wax has a “memory,” and if the melt pool isn’t complete, the candle may tunnel and burn unevenly in future uses.

Some intention candles come adorned with dried herbs, florals, crystals, or charms. When first lit, the florals may sizzle or crackle—similar to dried herb incense. As the wax melts, these decorative elements will naturally begin to sink.

To ensure a safe and smooth burn, it’s perfectly okay (and often recommended for beginners) to gently remove some of the dried florals and place them beside the candle vessel. Larger crystals and charms should also be taken out and set nearby. Rest assured, every item included has already been Reiki-infused with energy for your highest good—they’re ready to support your intentions.

Before lighting, take a moment to hold the candle in your hands. Close your eyes, visualize what you need or desire, and send that intention into the candle. As you light the flame, focus your energy on it—this helps activate and release the vibration of your intent into the universe.

✨You can also enjoy these candles using a candle warmer. Simply treat it like a wickless candle—no need to remove any herbs, crystals, or charms. Everything inside is safe to remain in the vessel and will gently release its energy as the wax warms.

 Keep wicks trimmed to ¼ inch to ensure the flame doesn’t get too big or too hot. I recommend placing my candles on something like a trivet, silicone mat, cork or hot pad because with the florals and stones added, (especially black obsidian), the base does tend to heat up more than with an undressed candle. Stop burning your candle when only ¼ inch of the wax remains. This will help keep the sunken florals and other top dress from lighting up and possibly cracking the glass or scorching the tin. Never burn so low that no wax remains, jar will crack for sure, tin will scorch surfaces. Never leave your candle unattended, never burn while sleeping, never burn on your carpet (why do I have to type that?), burn away from walls, in an open, clutter free space, keep away from little fingers and furry tails. Never pour water on a scented candle to extinguish. Always smother an out of control flame.

Q: How do I use the crystals I received from WBC?

A: The crystals have been Reiki charged for proper intention. You can use them as they come or may choose to smoke cleanse them and reset their charge. Unwrap all crystals from their plastic labeled baggies, place in your pouch, carry with you in either your pocket, bra or purse to utilize their healing properties. They will benefit from an occasional smoke (incense or herbal) cleansing and a recharge under the full moon.
